For the contest “Meet at Your Golden Middle” by Kerrygold, we collaborated with the agency BBDO Düsseldorf to create an emotional campaign. The idea: people who haven’t seen or heard from each other in a long time meet exactly at their geographical midpoint—which could be anywhere. A moment we captured in evocative visuals.
As the executing commercial film production, we were responsible for the implementation and smooth operation across two eventful shooting days in the Eifel. Four locations were on the schedule. Our goal was to capture the golden hour at sunset perfectly, casting the reunion in a special light and communicating the theme with precision.
The shoot began in a stream, where we had to prepare a table to remain stable in the water while fitting perfectly into the frame. The subsequent location changes required meticulous planning and fast set adjustments to maintain the desired look and stay on schedule, which was limited due to the timing of the sunset.
Post-production, which was entirely handled by us, ensured that every detail was refined to the satisfaction of Kerrygold and BBDO. The result is a campaign that succeeds both visually and emotionally. We are thrilled to have executed this project successfully with BBDO and Kerrygold and thank everyone involved for their excellent collaboration.

Pallets, Stones, Molton – and Action!
A particular challenge on this shoot was setting up a table in a stream. The table had to be positioned so that not a single drop of water touched it. To level the uneven riverbed, we purchased seven Euro pallets, screwed them together, and weighted them down with stones from the surroundings to ensure they withstood the current and didn’t float to the surface. However, once in the water, we realized that the pallets were still visible beneath the surface in the camera frame. We had to improvise: the pallets were covered with Molton fabric to make them visually disappear.
The table legs were carefully wrapped in cling film to protect the wood from water. This required millimeter-precise work. The film had to be wrapped high enough to keep the wood dry, yet low enough to remain invisible on camera. In the end, we were able to place the table perfectly in the stream without a single drop of water touching it.
