Rough seas, a mysterious model, and fashion to match. Our film LATENT for the internationally renowned fashion magazine ELLE was created in collaboration with our partner Sven Bensemann, who has been responsible for art direction and makeup on numerous fashion productions. With his detailed briefing, we at TWIST Filmproduktion Düsseldorf already had a clear vision of how the final clip should look before shooting even began.

The project is a tribute to the celebrated photographer and filmmaker Peter Lindbergh, who believed that beauty is only truly beautiful when it is authentic. The concept of the film reflects this philosophy, aiming to provoke thought and remain genuine rather than polished.

To capture the atmosphere of the final film, all footage was shot in black and white. From the very start, this choice conveyed a striking contrast between beauty and melancholy.
